How this is ranked. Year-on-year change in the median house sale price, from the state government sales report for the latest quarter, converted to a percentile against every other suburb with enough sales. Suburbs with fewer than 10 house sales that quarter are left out: a median of a handful of sales swings on one big house and is not a trend. Sydney figures are published per postcode, so suburbs sharing a postcode share a figure. Past growth is not a forecast. 219 of 422 Sydney suburbs had enough data to be ranked. Updated October 2026.

What other Sydney rankings are there?
